I first joined Branham’s Home & School Club board at the request of a fellow parent volunteer at the beginning of my daughter’s freshman year. In 2016-2017, as President of the Branham Home & School Club, I worked with our Board and Cheryl Lawton, our Principal, to bring the PTSA to our school. This will be my second year as President of Branham’s PTSA and I am excited to continue to find ways we can best serve all the wonderful parents, students, teachers, and other Branham Community Members. I currently have a senior and a sophomore attending Branham.
ANDREA CIPLICKAS - Executive Vice President
I have been an active member of the Branham Community for five years. My son graduated with the class of 2016 and my daughter just graduated with the class of 2018. I am currently the CEO of the CUHSD Education Foundation and serve on Branham’s School Site Council. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve on the new PTSA board as Vice President!
JENNIE ORTLER - Secretary
I am a parent volunteer and am proud to be a part of the Branham community. I have a son who is a Sophomore this year at Branham, and my daughter graduated from Branham in 2016. I am looking forward to contributing to the school as the PTSA Secretary and being an active member of our school community. I hope to meet many of you at the PTSA Association meetings this year. Go Bruins!
DANIKA CHO - V.P. Student Involvement
I am a senior at Branham, a board member in the Branham Best Buddies program, and active in Link Crew and National Honor Society. I took on this role with the PTSA to integrate students and their ideas into the board and its decision-making. I hope I can help bridge the gap between students, teachers, and parents to contribute to a cohesive Branham community. I look forward to this school year!
KENJI MILLER - Treasurer
I'm the father of two Branham students and a firm believer in this school. I'm excited to see all the improvements taking place as we continue to build out both our physical infrastructure and our strong community of parents, staff, students, and local businesses. This is my first year on the board and I look forward to doing whatever I can to continue to strengthen and grow this great community.
POOJA CHOPRA - Membership Committee Lead
I have been an active member of Branham community for last two years. Currently, I have a Senior and a Freshman attending Branham. I have been involved in my kids education since they were in elementary. I love being part of the school community by meeting new parents and learning from them. I used to help in College and Career Center and now I am happy to be part of PTSA as a Membership Committee Lead. I look forward to meeting all the wonderful parents.
PAULA ROSS - Mini Grants Committee Lead
Hi, my name is Paula Ross and I have a Senior at Branham. I have always been involved in my daughter’s school as an active parent. I joined the BHS Home School Club when she was a freshman and have been working with the Teacher Wish List Program (now Mini-Grants Program). This Mini-Grants Program helps the teachers to obtain resources they need for their classes, and in turn to enhance the students learning experience. I look forward to being a part of the new BHS PTSA and the expanded involvement with parents/teachers/students within the community.
